Rooney’s has remained an extraordinarily consistent fine dining establishment for decades, and continues to be one of the most romantic restaurants in the Rochester area. The interior is gorgeous, with detailed woodwork and a fireplace. The service is exceptional, and the food is creative without being pretentious. Look for the marinated beet salad, and combine that with the mixed grill or pan-seared venison with dried cherry glaze.
