It's easy to take the ones you love for granted. If we can't get into Such and Such Hot Spot we'll just go to Lucia's, you say. There's nothing "just" about Lucia's. Earthy and unpretentious, the food of Lucia Watson is nationally known to be outstanding. Eating a simple spring salad with lemon vinaigrette brings you right to a place of happiness. Asparagus and leek risotto came with a surprising ramp sour cream, brined pork loin carried a tangy mustard sauce. A favorite for low-key brunch in Uptown, lemon poppy-seed waffles and tangerine screwdrivers are a great way to end the weekend. Don't let the minimalist décor lull you, this place is as hot as ever. More recent additions of a bakery and all-day "To Go" shop draw us back any time of day.
