 Cajun food has gone in and out of favor in the last few years, but this boisterous take on a Louisiana roadhouse keeps going strong. Owner Steven Domingue hails from Western Louisiana and is an enthusiastic proponent of Cajun food and culture. The food here is the real deal, crawfish etoufee and shrimp creole at dinner, catfish or shrimp po-boys at lunch, and spicy sausage gumbo and freshly made jambalaya at all times. Blackened ribeye isn’t a traditional dish but is very good here, and the pecan pie is just the best you can get.  A warning – the opening and closing times are subject to change based on the amount of business – if you’re coming toward the end of lunch or dinner hours, call ahead to make sure they haven’t closed early.
