One of Eugene’s unsung breakfast places, the Midtown Bistro used to be home to Bel Ami, a great evening spot, especially for groups, but even in its smaller incarnation, it’s worth a stop for breakfast or coffee. Generously sized BLTs, daily sandwich specials, flavorful scrambles and crisp fries share menu space with house-made sausages and soups. It’s only open until 3 pm, though, so don’t be too late a luncher.
