There are those who know nothing more about Bend than that it is home of the famous Deschutes Brewery and all its luscious craft brews. Mirror Pond Pale Ale and Black Butte Porter are probably the most popular and have helped make Deschutes the beer-lover’s choice from LA to Denver. It also has an extensive upscale pub menu with many items made with their distinctive brews and a steady rotation of pub-exclusive beers. Virtually the entire menu is prepared in house and features local, sustainable ingredients whenever possible. There is always a crowd as this is a popular place with tourists and locals alike, and Deschutes doesn’t take reservations.
